Cait Nolan is an artist, educator and gardener based in Lenapehoking, the uncedeed lands of the Lenni Lenape in New Jersey.
In her most recent artistic work she creates hyper-local place based quilts using fabric that she dyes with plants grown and foraged on her small farm and surrounding public land.
Cait is inspired by the cyclical nature of plant growing and her work leans into the limitations of seasonality as a response to the over consumption of capitalism.
Cait hosts fresh leaf indigo dyeing and other workshops at her farm studio.
Beginning in 2025 10% of all workshop registration fees and quilt sales will be donated quarterly to the Nanticoke Lenni Lenape Indians of N.J.
